Within 24h i went from SA where the temp was 19degC in the evening Istanbul where the temp is 6degC in the evening. this is the first time where i have traveled for so long and have not changed my watch due to time zones.
First impressions
This place is... different :P the train/trams are like buses here sharing the same roads/lanes and everyone that owns a restaurant WANTS YOU to eat in their restaurant and they don't really stop asking you.
The hostel is epic! it is easy to miss in both day and night as the entrance is a passage next to a rug shop and only a meter wide and is not well lit at all , the lobby is a desk in the wall and the room is on the 5th floor
So here i am on a journey enjoying the lack of work and meeting new ppl with an array of languages.
